BA (Hons.) in English
This is a broad-based, multidisciplinary program designed to equip the graduates to meet the demand of the changing society. The program is built on a number of foundation and support courses, core areas and elective courses. The foundation courses are for of general interests that will broaden horizon of knowledge and vision of the students. The support courses will directly facilitate the understanding of the core courses.
The B.A. (Hons) in English at BUBT is a full time, day program. This is a four year program consisting of 12 (twelve) regular semesters. Students will be required to do 40 courses including 5 elective courses for doing major in English Language consisting of 120 credit hours and a thesis for 4 credits making a total of 124 credits. Usual course load is 12 credit hours in each regular semester. In the last semester students will do a thesis under the guidance of a faculty supervisor.
